There are a variety of burger recipes that might suit to you. I Got it from internet when i walking away.. My search of veggie burger recipes is limited to burgers made with vegetables and grains, although I did include a few recipes that used tofu, a soybean product. Otherwise, I avoided soy products, and definitely no texturized vegetable protein.
The Vegetarian Burger Recipes is :
Lentil Burgers
Ingredients: Dry lentils, tofu, flour, onion, garlic, chili powder, liquid smoke, tamari.
Mixture is spooned onto hot skillet or griddle in the shape of a burger
Carrot Rice Nut Burgers
Ingredients: Brown rice, cashews, sunflower seeds, onion, carrot.
Mixture is formed into 20 patties and grilled.
Ancient Grain and Vegetable Patties
Ingredients: Millet, quinoa, cornmeal, flour, almonds, sunflower seeds, red onion, baby portabella mushrooms, carrots, celery, red pepper, garlic, spinach, Italian spices, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, and hot pepper sauce.
Lots of ingredients, but I’m anxious to try this recipe. Form into 6 patties and bake at 350ยบ for 30 minutes.
Martha Stewart Veggie Burgers
Ingredients: 8 oz portabello mushrooms, zucchini, quinoa, breadcrumbs, egg, shallot, red pepper flakes, and olive oil.
Chop mushrooms in a food processor. Shred zucchini and press water out. Form veggie burger mixture into 6 patties and fry until crisp exterior. Serve on split buns with cucumbers, sprouts, and yogurt sauce (recipe included). Use dairy substitutes for vegan friendly version.
Portabella Burgers with Balsamic
Ingredients: 8 medium or 4 extra large portabello caps, red pepper, garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic.
Another recipe from Martha Stewart’s site. Portabello caps and red pepper are marinated, then grilled. Serve on buns with lettuce and goat cheese (or vegan friendly substitute). Serves 4.
Greek Style Quinoa Burgers
Ingredients: Quinoa, carrot, great northern beans, bread crumbs, scallions, cumin, egg.
Form mixture into 4 patties and pan fry. Serve in pita pockets with yogurt and cucumber slices. I love that these burgers are served in pita pockets. Since veggie burgers are not firm like meat, they can be crumbly, but the pita will contain your burger. Use dairy substitutes for vegan friendly version.
Nut Burgers
Ingredients: Walnuts, sunflower seeds, chickpeas, red onion, egg, fresh parsley.
Form mixture into 2 patties and pan fry. Serve in pita pockets with a slice of cheese, romaine, tomato, avocado and Ranch dressing. Use dairy substitutes for vegan friendly version.
Vegetable and Tofu Burger
Ingredients: Carrot, zucchini, tofu, onion, celery, egg, bread crumbs, Thai curry paste, fresh basil.
Form mixture into 4 patties and pan fry. Use egg substitute for vegan friendly version.
