Grandparents' Day Celebrated

Grandparents' Day, Celebrated every fourth Sunday of November, Grandparents' Day encourages families to take the time to acknowledge grandparents and pay tribute to them.

About 5,000 people celebrated Grandparents' Day at the Singapore Zoo yesterday. It was part of a slew of active-ageing activities organised by the Council for Third Age this month. The event had participants aged four months to those in their 70s taking part in a scavenger hunt, playing games and enjoying live music.

The event also celebrates the bond between multiple generations in the family.
